There’s no feeling in the world like giving birth to your first child, but then no-one quite prepares you for what to do next. Susan’s new moms group was truly the most helpful, inspiring and healing place for me to go with my new son. We discussed everything - from the basics like breastfeeding and sleep to the more nuanced feelings we were all experiencing and how to relate to our family and partners. Her guidance and insight saved me and paved the path for the parenting style I continue to use today. Her warmth, candor and support and being able to discuss the challenges I was feeling with other moms going through the exact same thing was truly a lifesaver and I am forever indebted to Susan and her new mom’s group.
